ABOUT THE BIBLE
We believe the words of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelations, are divinely inspired by God. These scriptures are, therefore, the sole basis for our faith and standard of living and profitable (useful) for doctrine (teaching), rebuke (exposing our faults and sins), correction (correcting us) and reproof (showing us how to live a life that pleases God). We believe the Bible is infallible and inerrant in the original manuscripts, and that no other writings inspired by God have the authority and infallibility of the sixty-six books of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Thess. 2:13).

HOLINESS
We believe that God desires for us to live a life that pleases him (1 Thess. 4:1-8). The holy scriptures are clear; we should leave sin and cleave to holiness. 1 Peter 1:16 states: “Be Ye Holy, for I (God) am holy.” Holiness means to be set apart to do the express service and will/work of God. We believe that the believer should be willing to let go anything that hinders their spiritual growth and relationship with God (Leviticus 11:44-45; Amos 5:14-15; Romans 13: 12-14; 1 John 3:4-6).

ABOUT GOD
We believe that there is only ONE God (Deut. 4:35; Deut. 6:4; Isaiah 42:8; Isaiah 44:6; John 1:1, 14; 1 John 5:7). This statement of fact is fully documented throughout the Holy Scriptures. He was revealed to us as Father in creation (Genesis 1:1; Nehemiah 9:6; Psalm Isaiah 42:5-6) as Son in redemption (Isaiah 35:4; Isaiah 53:4-5; Luke 2:11; Luke 3:21-22; Luke 19:10; Mt 9:13 2:30, John 3:17; I Timothy 1:15) , and as Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:28-29; John 14:15-20 ) in his comforting grace that never leaves those who trust in Him. The name of our God is Jesus; he is our “Mighty God” (Isaiah 9:6). Our God has no physical limitations. There is nothing that he cannot do. He is infinite in power, wisdom, holy in nature, attributes and purposes (Psalm 139:5-12; Psalm 147:4-5; Proverbs 15:3; Isaiah 40:28; Jeremiah 32:27; Matthew 28:18; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 6:13; Revelations 1:8).

ABOUT JESUS
We fully believe in the mystery of the Godhead (Colossians 1:9; 2:6-9). We believe that Jesus was both human and divine. He was God when He said "all power" was given unto Him (Matthew 28:18), and when He exercised the right to forgive sins (Mark 2:5; Luke 7:48). He was human when He suffered, bled, and died on the cross (Isaiah 53:4-5). He was Deity when He arose again, victorious over death. We believe that in Jesus, dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. For it pleases the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell (Colossians 1:19; 2:9). He is our savior (Luke 2:11), the mighty God (Isaiah 9:6) and God himself manifested in flesh (Matthew 1:23; John 1:1-14; 1 Timothy 3:16; Revelations 1:8).

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit and His indwelling presence in every born again believer. He is the comforter, sustainer and keeper (John 14:16-26; Romans 8:9-11). As the indwelling One, he is also the source of all power and all acceptable worship and service. He provides the Christian with power for living, witnessing, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:1)
|
GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Gift of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit of the Lord gives utterance (Acts 2:4). We believe the promise of the Holy Spirit is for all believers who diligently seek the father (Acts 2:38-29).
We believe that the Holy Spirit bestows enabling ministry gifts upon believers, and that these gifts will build up the Body of Christ through edification and evangelism (1 Corinthians 12:1-11); as evidence of a Spirit-filled life, believers should show spiritual “fruit”: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22-25).
We believe that it is the will of God that believers walk in the Spirit moment by moment, serving the Lord and living lives of patience, love, truth, sincerity, and prayer (Ephesians 4:30-32; Galatians 5:16, 25).

ABOUT MANKIND
We believe that God created man and woman in his own image, and as a result all mankind is tremendously valuable to God. We are the supreme object of his creation. Tragically, man is marred by an attitude of disobedience and selfishness toward God and his commandments called sin (1 John 3:4). This sin separates us from God. Romans 3:23 explains clearly, “For all have sinned; all come short of the Glory of God.” (Gen. 1:26-27, 2:17, 3:6, Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6, 59:1-2; Eph 2:1-3; Romans 5:12-19; 1 John 1:8)
|
ABOUT SALVATION
Where sin is the problem, we believe that Jesus is the answer. Jesus offers us salvation as the perfect and only solution. Acts 4:12 lets us know that: “Neither is there salvation in any other: For there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Blood must be shed in a sacrificial manner as payment for someone’s sin (Hebrews 9:14; 22). All sin must be punished by death (Romans 6:23), but God showed us his great love by sending Christ (sinless and innocent) to die for us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). But three days later, just as promised and prophesied, Jesus rose from the dead to live forever. We believe His passion accomplished a propitiation to God, a redemption from sin and a reconciliation of man; that salvation is received by repenting of our sins and receiving Jesus Christ by faith; that this experience is referred to as the born again life (John 3:16; Romans 5:1; 10:9-10; 10:17; Ephesians 2:8-10; Acts 2:38; John 3:3). Good works cannot save anyone from sin and salvation cannot be earned. A person is only saved by grace , when they place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ (John 1:12-13, 3:16, 10:10; Romans 5:8, 10:9; Eph. 1:4-5, 2:4-9, 1 Jn. 1:9; Rev. 3:20).

ABOUT THE CHURCH
We believe that the local, organized church should be a body of born again believers, baptized by immersion, and that Christ is the only "Head of the body, the Church" (Colossians 1:18; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38, 41). We believe that all true believers are members of the God’s church. Their sanctification, edification and security are provided for in the finished work of Christ through faith in, and obedience to, the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:14-17; II Corinthians 6:18; Hebrews 10:10; 10:14; Ephesians 4:24; John 17:17; I Thessalonians 5:23; II Corinthians 7:1). The church is to serve people like Jesus served people, love people like Jesus loved people and lead them to live a life that pleases God (1 Thessalonians 4:1-8).
|
THE GREAT COMMISSION
We believe that the Great Commission is also a primary mission of the Church and that the Gospel of the grace of God is to be preached to all the world; that Jesus died for the sins of the world, and that therefore, the Church must tell a lost and dying generation this good news. We believe that whosoever will come is the invitation to all sinners from our Lord Jesus Christ. Come to Jesus and become a child of God or reject Him and be lost (Matthew 28:18-19; Mark 16:15; John 17:18; II Corinthians 5:18-20; I Peter 1:17; 2:11; Romans 10:13; Matthew 11:28-30; I John 5:11-13).

ABOUT ETERNITY
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence (John 3:16; John 2:25; John 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15; 1 John 5:11-12; Matthew 25:31-46).
|
ETERNAL JUDGEMENT
We believe that judgment awaits all men; that the saved will appear before the mercy seat of Christ for the testing of their works; that the unsaved will appear before the Great White Throne of judgment where eternal condemnation awaits those who reject Christ Jesus the Savior (Romans 3:10-19; 3:23; 6:23; I Corinthians 3:11-15; John 3:16-18; Revelation 20:11-15).
|
ABOUT THE RAPTURE
We believe in the imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive His true Church unto Himself (Revelation 22:20; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Romans 8:19-23; Titus 2:13-14; Philippians 3:20).

PRAYER
We believe that a believer should maintain daily intimate fellowship with God by talking to him and listening to what he says to us. Prayer is talking to the Father (Luke 11:1-2). God has called us to be one with Him (John17:20-23). Prayer both builds our intimacy with the Father and enables us to partner with Him by doing His will (Matthew 6:9-10).
We must pray in faith (Mark 11:22-24). We should devote ourselves to prayer (Colossians 4:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:17) following Jesus’ example (Mark 1:35; Luke 5:16). We should pray instead of worrying (Philippians 4:6-7). We should pray in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18-19; Jude 1:20). As righteous believers our prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16) and are an offering to God (Revelation 5:8).
|
LOVE
Love is one of the attributes of God and an essential part of his nature (Matthew 5:45; Luke 12: 6-7; John 3:16-17; Romans 8:38-39; 1 John 4:16). In like manner, as children of God, love is an essential character and fruit that every believer should exhibit (Leviticus 19:18; Matthew 5:38-39; Romans 12:10; Galatians 5:13-15; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Peter 4:8-10). It is impossible to love God and hate God’s children (1 John 4:19-21). We are commissioned to Love God (Deut. 10:12-13) and Love people (Romans 12:10); not just in word and speech but in truth and action (1 John 3:17-18). There is no other commandment greater than these (Mark 12:28-30).
|
FELLOWSHIP
We make fellowship a habit—meeting together with other believers in large meetings, in organized small groups and in various informal gatherings
Like believers in the early church, we devote ourselves to fellowship (Acts2:42). In this way we encourage one another (Hebrews 10:24-25), share our lives with each other 1 Thess. 2:8), and meet one another’s needs (Galatians 6:2; James 2:14-17; 1 John 3:16-20).

SERVING
We believe that service should be second nature to every believer. We serve God, one another, those who don't yet know Jesus, and our communities. We were created for God’s pleasure and to serve Him (Deuteronomy 6:13; Matthew 4:10; Romans 1:9; Colossians 1:16; Revelation 7:15). God requires us to serve one another (2 Corinthians 4:5; Galatians 5:13; 1 Peter 4:8-11) following Jesus’ example (Mark 10:45). Our service also extends to a dying world as we present the good news of Jesus Christ to those who don't yet know him (2 Corinthians 5:17-20; 6:4-10).
|
EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP
Empowered by the Holy Sprit, we practice evangelism by sharing the good news about salvation through Jesus Christ with the people we know. We don't force Jesus on others, but when people respond to the message we embrace them and obey Jesus' command (Matthew 28:19-20) by mentoring them in their new faith. We pass along the “whole will of God” (Acts 20:25-27) to new believers - teaching them to teach others to teach (2 Timothy 2:2) in order to reach an ever-expanding audience (Mark 16:14-16).
|
GIVING- TITHES AND OFFERINGS
We believe that tithes and offerings are ordained of God to sustain His ministry, spread the Gospel, and release personal blessings (Malachi 3:10; 1 Corinthians 16: 1, 2).
